Location

The Centre of Excellence for Gastrointestinal Inflammation and Immunity Research (CEGIIR) is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It's unique infrastructure consists of facilities primarily located in two buildings:

  • The basic science labs and research offices of CEGIIR are located on the 7th floor of the new Katz Group - Rexall Centre for Pharmacy and Health Research building.
  • The Zeidler Gastroenterology Health and Research Centre houses the clinical research facilities, and is connected to the University of Alberta Hospital.
  • The Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Viral Hepatitis Treatment Facility is located at the basement of The Zeidler Gastroenterology Health and Research Centre.
  • The CEGIIR Infrastructure and Research Design Facility is also located at the basement of The Zeidler Gastroenterology Health and Research Centre.
